Umbrian cuisine
A simple style of cooking, very often rustic but always ingenious, using genuine raw materials and always following the rhythm of the seasons. Rediscover Umbria through its cuisine, its history, its lands and its customs. Anchored in solid farming traditions, the dishes of this region include great cheeses and outstanding cold cuts; homemade pastas and hot soups in the frigid winters, and fresh panzanella salads on hot summer days. Not to mention the meat, even now produced by small family-run farms. And what can you say about the desserts? A series of incredible and excellent delights matched to different festivals, often of religious origin, held in numerous towns and districts. The Umbrian cuisine offers dishes for everyone and for every taste. You only have to choose the right wine… |
